The Nationalist Party has wished students, educators and all those working in the education sector a successful school year as the 2026-2027 scholastic year gets under way.

Jerome Caruana Cilia Shadow Minister for Education and Citizenship stated that, ”education is the most important tool for building the society of today and tomorrow, and reiterated the PN’s commitment to a ”high-quality, inclusive education system focused on the real needs of students and educators.”

He stressed that ”at a time when the education system continues to face significant challenges, we need an education system that gives every student the opportunity to fulfil their potential, while fostering critical thinking, digital skills, creativity, innovation, emotional intelligence, empathy, respect and resilience.”

The Nationalist Party said that it also recognises the crucial role played by all educators and thanked them for their work every day. ”Throughout this scholastic year, the Nationalist Opposition will continue to be a voice for students and educators, insisting on an education policy centred on real needs and placing inclusion at its heart.”
