Malta International Airport has announced that a number of flights departing from and arriving at Malta International Airport have been affected due to drifts of volcanic ash in airspace across Europe following the eruption of a volcano in Iceland on last Wednesday the 14th of April.

They said that passengers are invited to contact MIA flight enquiries on tel: 5004 3333 for further information and to confirm flight arrival / departure times.

For any re-booking or re-routing enquiries clients are to contact the airline, Air Malta – International Call Centre on +356 21662211. (The call centre will remain open until midnight and will open again for business at 0500hrs (local time).
