Hello I am wondering if any of your readers can help in my quest to trace my Family tree.
I am from the UK, my Grandfather George (Georgis) Tabone, was born 1899, Gozo, Malta. The street used to be called, Strada Provicario, I believe it is now called Archpriest Saver Casser street, he lived at number 24.
We believe he was a triplet?
We think his Father was Carmelo Tabone and his Mother Maria Attard?
George was a seaman and came to the UK in about 1920, met my Grandmother, married and lived and died in the UK.
My Mother Teresa is one of his daughters and she knows very little about her Fathers life in Malta.
I have hit a brick wall and cannot find out any more desperate to know if he was infact a triplet and would love to see a picture of him.
From what I have found out he was a shoemaker when he was very young and joined the Army but wasnt in very long. If anyone knows anything I would love to hear from you please email me at abell296@btinternet.com
Thanks so much Alison Bell.

I can help you with your quest to find the relatives of George Tabone. I would like to stress that the information that you provided is grossly inaccurate as the late G. Tabone had never traveled to, did not live or die in England. I am providing you with my e-mail buzzing@mail.com so I may provide you with further details.
I would just like to add that I now know that the information I was told about my Grandfather is untrue.
He did not live in Archpriest Saver assar Street I had him mixed up with a different George.
I was given this info from an internet family tree website and from a church which clearly the wires were crossesd.
My Grandfather George Tabone was born in malta 1899 but now I dont know where in malta, he was a seaman lived and died in the UK, and we think he was a triplet, if we an find out the trplet thing i know we will find out who he was there cant have been many tabone triplets born in Malta at that time.
My quest continues with very little to go on, hopefully I will find out who he was.
So sorry if I have caused any distress to Georges family in Malta for the mix up.
