The Former Prime Minister Dom Mintoff was admitted to the Mater Dei Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday. His medical team has issued an update regarding his health.

The Mater Dei Medical Team up-date:

The Ex Prime Minister Mr Dom Mintoff is currently in his second day in the Critical Coronary Care Unit of Mater Dei Hospital. There has been an improvement in his overall medical condition and he has demonstrated a good response to his medical treatment.

Last September, Mr Mintoff was taken to the Mater Dei Hospital with slight injuries following a fall, but had to be be moved to the Intensive Unit shortly after.
