Melita has said that subscribers who register for the new Melita Freedom Pack will now also benefit from a free Motorola VE538 3G handset.

The Motorola VE538, which is available in white, is one of the latest 3G handsets on the local market and comes in a stylish, small and easy-to-use format with optional memory slot. Weighing just 83g, it is the ideal phone for those who like to combine style with practicality. The handset also offers full internet browsing capabilities as well as all the other cutting edge functions that we’ve grown to love in our phones – from Bluetooth to dual camera (main camera with 2 Megapixels), music player, optional MicroSD card and more, Melita said.

The Motorola VE538 is being offered for free as part of the new Freedom Pack, which includes a Melita fixed line for only €2.99 per month together with a Melita Mobile prepaid connection for just €10 per month. The €10 remain in the customer’s account as credit in addition to free calls to all Melita fixed telephony and Melita Mobile numbers. Besides the Motorola VE538, subscribers can also opt for the Nokia 2730 handset.

For just €12.99 per month, the Freedom Pack has unlimited free calls from the fixed line to all local numbers and unlimited free calls to the Melita Mobile number included in the Freedom Pack. The Melita Mobile prepaid number included as part of the Freedom Pack offers customers €10 worth of credit per month to use as they wish, unlimited free calls to all Melita fixed lines and unlimited free calls to all Melita Mobile numbers.

“At a time when everyone is doing their utmost to reduce their utility bills, the Melita Freedom Pack offers an incredibly low monthly fee and includes all aspects of telephony. This means that subscribers don’t need to worry about keeping track of what they’re spending whenever they use their home line or their mobile phone,” said Mireille Muscat, Product Manager for Melita.

This offer is available also to existing Melita fixed line telephony subscribers, while customers switching from another operator may keep their current mobile and fixed line number at no extra charge when they subscribe to the Freedom Pack.

The Freedom Pack is subject a 24 month agreement. For more information of Melita’s New Freedom Pack log on to www.melita.com, visit one of Melita’s outlets located across Malta and Gozo or simply call 27 270 270.
