The Archbishop’s Seminary joined with many other schools throughout Malta and Gozo in gaining the Green Flag for the efforts pursued by the students of the school towards environmental protection.

The Minister of Education, Employment and Family, Dolores Cristina, who attended the ceremony, praised the efforts of students and the leadership of the Seminary for the work performed during the past year resulting in gaining this prestigious flag.

The Minister said that the main purpose of her visit was to celebrate the achievement of the Green Flag with the school, an achievement that shows the commitment of the Seminary in protecting the environment, both through learning and through practices that help to protect the environment.

The majority of schools in Malta and Gozo have achieved or are actively working toward gaining this important recognition, which means that green awareness is continuing to grow among our children and youth.

The Minister of Education thanked the administration of EkoSkola for working with the students and creating a growing awareness about the environment, ensuring that we leave a better environment to future generations.
