There will be a Presbiteral Ordination this coming Saturday, the 28th of May, at 6.00pm, at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Victoria.
The Oridnation will take place of deacon Simon M. Cachia, from St George’s parish, by H.L. Mgr Mario Grech, bishop of Gozo, together with another five fellow candidates: Samuel Grech from the parish our Our Lady of Loreto in Ghajnsielem, who is currently rendering pastoral service at St George’s; John Mejlak, from the Cathedral parish; Krystof Buttigieg, from the parish of the Immaculate Conception and St Joseph, Qala; Trevor Sultana and Franklin Vella, both from the parish of St John the Baptist in Xewkija,
Two candidates will also be endowed to the ministry of the Diaconate:
Daniel Grech (Ta’ Kercem Parish)
Mark Bonello (Xaghra Parish)
