On Friday 8th July 2011 the San Lawrenz Parish Church was the venue for the Musical A.D. 1062, composed by Joe Formosa and lyrics by Giovann Attard.

This musical relates a charming story entwined with the cult towards Saint Lawrence, the patron saint of the Parish of San Lawrenz in Gozo and the Parish of Vittoriosa in Malta.

Due to popular demand this musical will be performed for a second time on Thursday, the 28th of July as part of the Feasts in honour of St Lawrence, which will be celebrated in the village of San Lawrenz between Monday, the 25th and Sunday, the 31s of July.
