This is Jasmine, one of 4 almost identical black and tan puppies, two females and two males, now at the Gozo SPCA Rehoming Centre in Victoria. They were born on the 20th of October and are now 11 weeks old (5th Jan).

Their parents are both small. the mother being a chihuahua (tal-but) X and the father only slightly bigger. The parents live at the Pitkalija at Xewkija, where the workers feed them.

As the Centre was full at the time they were born, a kind employee took the mother and puppies home to care for them. Now they are at the Centre and ready for that ‘forever’ home. The Gozo SPCA spokeperson said that these puppies are ideal for somebody seeking a small breed pet.

The Gozo SPCA will now be neutering the parents, the puppies will also be neutered before homing.
