A 28-year old man from Fontana was seriously injured in a an accident on the coast road at Bahar ic-Caghaq sometime after 4am this morning.
Chris Micallef was driving his Toyota car towards Qawra, when he hit an electricity pole, causing it to overturn, ending up on the rocks, the Police said.
He was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he is reported to be in a serious condition.
A full investigation is underway.
