The Xaghra Local Council is once again organising the annual ‘Xaghra Day’ with a programme of activities aimed for all the family. It will be held during the last week of April.

The Council is now receiving applications for the nomination of individuals to be awarded the honour ‘Gieh ix-Xaghra,’ which is the most prestigious honour that the Council awards during the year.

The regulations for the award of this honour together with the application form can be obtained from the Local Council’s administrative offices.

The winner will be decided by Xaghra Coucilors during a Council meeting. The closing date for nominations is 4pm on Friday, the 30th of March 2012.
