The Prime Minister Dr Lawrence Gonzi inaugurated the Villa Rundle Garden in Victoria earlier this evening.
An extensive restructuring and embellishment project has been carried, following its closure in June 2010, which has given a completely new look to the gardens.
A play area for children has been established as well as an auditorium where outdoor activities will be taking place for this weekend’s Lejlet Lapsi – Notte Gozitana.
There has been landscaping at the entrances to the gardens, a water reservoir excavated, the installation of a lighting system, benches and new ancillary facilities to compliment garden.

Getting close to Elections.
Re reservoir of course one had to be done because the wells that were there run dry since close by an enormous hole seven stories deep was dug up .

Last weekend we visited the newly rehabilitated Villa Rundle Garden and we were truly impressed with the complete change of this Garden. Prosit to the Gozo Ministry for a job well done.
