1. The Foundation’s Bishop Nikol Cauchi recalled the late Mgr Nikol G. Cauchi by organising a lecture open to the public by President Emeritus of Malta H.E. Ugo Mifsud Bonnici, with the subject “God in human life.” The meeting took place in the hall of the Bishop’s Curia.

2. Around 55 people donated blood at the Gozo General Hospital blood donation centre recently. A medical and paramedical team crossed over from Malta to help Gozitan staff.

3. A fundraising bazaar in aid of the missions in Kenya was recently held at St Francis School in Victoria. This initiative was taken by Year 6 students and was held at the entrance of the school in Palm Street. Students have been organising similar activities to help the Franciscan Sisters build a school near a slum area in Nairobi.

      Gozo should promote longer stays on the island to generate more revenue.
      Every maltese aussie I meet is satisfied to just take a ferry across for just a few hours !!,
      when visiting Malta.

      Please could you help me track down anyone who knew the Haigh Family From Huddersfield Yorkshire UK. Their names were John and Irene Daughter Jennifer and son Christopher, They lived in Merrylands ,John had something to do with Guilford football club. This is approx 41 to 43 years ago. Jennifer went to a school in Merrylands which one i am sorry i do not know,Sadly John And Irene have passed away but Jennifer is coming to Austrailia in November and would like to find old friends of the family, I know this is a long shot but any help would be great, I thank you for taking time to read this, Kind regards Mr John Allen,
