Arriva Malta in a statement today has denied allegations that it is hindering employees from joining Union Haddiema Maqghudin (UHM) and said that it “gives employees full freedom to become members of unions of their choice.”
Arriva said that the General Workers’ Union (GWU) represents the majority of employees at Arriva and is the recognised union.
“Arriva’s management has consistently and continuously collaborated with unions and their representatives, and has every intention of continuing to do so.”
