‘The Birth for all’ – is this year’s underlying theme for the 45th edition of the San Lawrenz traditional Christmas Pageant, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the 22nd of December, 2013.

The organisers said that this chosen theme reflects the current world situation, serving as a reminder that the History of Salvation encompasses all humanity. The biblical narrative will be recounted in an innovative manner, urging the audience to engage in a participatory role, rather than simply being a distant spectator.

Last year’s scenes took place in local households – an idea which will be repeated in this year’s edition.

The organising committee said that it is thriving for a spectacle in the village’s main square – the setting for the final scenes of the pageant. More information will be given in due course.
