Update: The Gozo Cup final has just finished at the Gozo Stadium with Valletta FC ast the title holders, the result is Sliema Wanderers 80′ (1-3) Valletta FC, Mario Apap, scorers were 49′ (0-1) Luke Dimech 65′ (1-1) Pape Gueye 67′ (1-2) Karim Nafti 75′ (1-3) Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza.
The game for third and fourth place in the fourth edition of the Gozo Cup, kicked off at 3.00pm this afternoon at the Gozo Stadium, between the Gozo selection – Gozo XI and from the Malta Premier League, Hibernians.
The result was Gozo XI – F.T. (3-1) – Hibernians, the Referee was Trustin Farrugia and scorers were: Cann 2′ (0-1) Obinna Obiefule 52′ (1-1) Saturday Nanapere 66′ (2-1) o.g. Dunstan Vella 77′ (3-1) Sunday Baala.
Gozo win third place.
The event has been organised by the Gozo Football Association and the Ministry for Gozo in collaboration with Gozo Channel, Michael Grech Financial Investment Services, the Gozo Office for Culture and Information and www.visitgozo.com.
