Kaccaturi San Ubertu (Saint Hubert Hunters) said in a statement today that “the 3 hunters found guilty by the court in connection with the killing of a protected bird during the closed season, are not members of its association.”

KSU Secretary David Borg Cardona, said that it once again reiterates that “all of its members are strictly vetted prior to acceptance. As such, these individuals will not find refuge within its folds.”

KSU concluded by saying that it “also commends the Government for increasing penalties for similar crimes and augurs that perpetrators of similar acts are shown no clemency by the courts.”
