The Police have advised that a 58-year-old man from Xaghra, has sadly passed away from injuries he sustained this morning, when he fell from a height of about three floors in Triq l-Imgarr, Xewkija.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was working on the facade of a private residence, at the time he fell.

Officers from Victoria Police station went on site, together with a medical team and the man was transferred straight to Gozo General Hospital

A Magisterial Inquiry has been appointed, whilst Police investigations are ongoing.
