President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, will be in Gozo on Friday to open a national conference entitled Il-Familja Maltija fit-Tielet Millennju – Progress u Sfidi! This is being organised by the OASI Foundation, at the Grand Hotel, Mgarr.
The 26th of June is the International Day against Drugs Abuse and Illicit Trafficking promoted annually by the United Nations and also the anniversary of the OASI Foundation’s official opening, which this year marks its 24th anniversary.
As part of the celebrations towards next year’s 25th anniversary, OASI said that all activities will focus on the theme of the family, because the family was, and still remains in the centre of their work.
With this in mind, the first activity being organised will be a National Conference with the theme The Maltese Family in the Third Millennium – Progress and Challenges!
The conference is being held this Friday, the 26th of June, between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
