Police have identified four Romanian suspects who were involved in a robbery from a jewellery shop in Palm street, Victoria, on the 26th of August.

Investigations revealed that the four thieves arrived in Gozo a day before the theft and subsequently left by boat. The following day, two of them flew to Turkey while the other two left for Italy.

The Police have now requested that an international arrest warrant be issued in order for the suspects to be detained and brought back to Malta to face criminal proceedings.
