A Via Crucis will be animated around the old streets of the Citadel, Victoria, next Saturday, the 19th of March.
The Via Crucis is being presented by the committee of Faith and Tradition within the Ministry for Gozo in collaboration with 'Ghaqda Dilettanti Gimgha l-Kbira Ghawdex.'
The Ghaqda Dilettanti Gimgha l-Kbira – Ghawdex, was founded in June 1997 by a group of Gozitan enthusiasts, who were fond of the easter traditions in the Maltese islands. Its purpose was to promote Lent, Holy Week and the Easter traditions in Malta and Gozo.
The also organise the Pageant of the Passion of Christ, an animated Passion Play which is enacted around the streets of Victoria.
Saturday's Via Crucis, will take place from: 7.00pm – 8.00pm and 8.15pm – 9.15pm
