The Local Council Final for class Premier trotters was the main attraction during today's Gozo Horse Racing Association meeting at Xhajma rack track. This final was done on a distance of 2,100m and was won by the German trotter 'Wee Catch Diamond,' driven by its owner Joseph Mercieca.The Swedish mare, 'Andorra,' driven by Marvin Bugeja won the final for class Silver while the other final for class Bronze 'Upilon De Maupas' driven by Mario Spiteri got the winning prize.

Today's programme was carried with the collaboration of the Gozo Local Councils and at the end of each final, the Mayors presented the prize to the winners.These are the results of today's winners:
