February’s industrial production increased by 1.2% – NSO

Seasonally adjusted industrial production in February increased by 1.2 per cent over the previous month, according to data from the National Statistics Office today.
The NSO said that when compared to February 2016, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went up by 4.2 per cent.
There were Increases registered in the production of consumer goods (6.4 per cent) and intermediate goods (0.2 per cent). While the production of energy and capital goods went down by 5.3 and 0.4 per cent respectively.
The index of industrial production adjusted for working days went up by 4.2 per cent compared to February 2016. Increases were registered in the production of consumer goods (6.0 per cent), intermediate goods (5.3 per cent) and energy (1.7 per cent). The production of capital goods went down by 0.4 per cent.
