The summer bus services are now in force, with more frequent buses on busy routes and an extended bus service to popular beaches, including three in Gozo.

Malta Public Transport has said that Tallinja card holders “will continue to enjoy the same reduced fares throughout the year, while tickets purchased on the bus are at €2 during summer.”

The routes are as follows:

In Gozo they are:

Route 310 – Victoria – Marsalforn

Route 311 – Victoria – Dwejra

Route 322 – Marsalforn – Mgarr Ferry.

In Malta:

Route 41: Valletta – Cirkewwa

Route 42: Valletta – Cirkewwa

Route 212: Sliema – Bugibba

Route 221: Cirkewwa – Bugibba

Route 222: Sliema – Cirkewwa

Route 223: Bugibba – Ghajn Tuffieha

Route 225: Sliema – Ghajn Tuffieha

Route 31: Valletta – Bugibba

During summer, MPT said that the the bus service is also being extended to these popular beaches: Armier (Route 49), Blue Grotto (Route 74), Gnejna Bay (Route 101) and Ghar Lapsi (Route 109). All these routes operate from Monday to Sunday during Summer.
