The heavy rain and thunderstorms did not deter race participants for the Malta Classic Grand Prix, from travelling over to Gozo yesterday.
Gozitan car enthusiasts had the opportunity to view the race cars at the Citadel in Victoria, yesterday morning when they were parked for a static display.
Then in the afternoon, the cars headed to Mgarr, where the drivers were welcomed by the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana for lunch at the harbour. The cars remained on display there during the afternoon.
Malta Classic is welcoming enthusiasts, families and visitors to Malta this week to discover the historic elegance and high performance of classics, the programmed includes the Mdina Grand Prix, as well as the very popular hill climb.
