The November Annual Symphonic Concert by Nadur’s Mnarja Philharmonic Band, is taking place this Saturday.
Big Band Adventures -will be held at the MBC Theatre, Mnarja Band Club, Nadur, starting at 8pm, organised by the Mnarja Philharmonic Society with the collaboration of the Nadur Local Council.
The concert will be part of the programme of celebrations to mark the feast of San Koronato being held at the Nadur village in Gozo.
Among the musical pieces to be performed by the Mnarja Band are: “Africa,” “Barcelona,” “Hans Zimmer – Movie Milestones,” “The Best of Abba,” “The Boney M. Megamix,” “Hermes House Band” and “Classic Hit Mix No. 1.”
The Mnarja Band will be under the direction of its musical director Mro Joseph Grech.
As in previous years, the Society said that the concert promises to offer patrons an enjoyable evening of entertainment.
The general public is invited to attend and entrance is free of charge. A reception will follow.
