In Memoriam – is the latest exhibition by artist Henry Alamango, and is being held at the Banca Giuratale in Independence Square, Victoria, Gozo.
The artist describes this exhibition as his “tongue-in-cheek, but sadly, serious…..and seriously sad…..comment about a blighted environment and an authentic Maltese lifestyle under stress.”
Henry Alamango is a self-taught Maltese artist whose art is rooted in his love of all things Mediterranean with strong impressions of the Maltese islands, the stone and sea and the abundance of warm lights that characterise his works.
The exhibition is open to the public until Monday, the 23rd of April, weekdays from 9am-3pm and weekends 9am to 1pm.

People who like me have the pleasure of knowing Mr Alamango, can verify his capabilities in several fields. He is a man of many trades and specialities. One just have to spend some time with him to appreciate his vast knowledge.
As an artist he is superb and so expressionist. He brings life to his paintings with so much vivacity. He somehow manages to bring to life whatever periods of life that our Islands and people went through.
So congratulations to Mr Alamango’s works. Well done and keep on creating these masterpieces.
