Journey: A Discovery From Within – is the latest exhibition from Abi Macleod Clark and Emma Borg. Between the artists, who are both based in Gozo, they have created 40 new pieces of art about their own personal journeys.
Abi is a mosaic artists who uses recycled materials and Emma is an acrylic painter with a taste for texture, the collection is a diverse mix of colours, images and creativity.
This year marks Emma Borgs 10th year exhibiting at the Cittadella and she said, “its exciting to see how far I have come over the years.” As part of this the artists are doing something new.
They are inviting people to come and join them this Friday, the the 8th of June from 7.30pm to spend time with the artists, to ask questions about their work, themes, inspirations and anything else visitors would like too.
The evening is free of charge and light refreshments will be provided.
The exhibition is open everyday 9am – 5pm at the Cittadella Cultural Centre.
