Police have said that a 4-year old girl was seriously injured this afternoon after falling from a height of one storey.

The incident happened at around 1pm, when the little girl was at a store in Triq 31 ta’ Marzu 1979 in Victoria, Gozo.

She was rushed to Gozo General Hospital for further treatment, where she was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.

A Magisterial Inquiry was appointed into the case and Police investigations are still on going.
