The concluding concert of the Miriam Gauci Vocal Master Class is being presented next Sunday by Gaulitana: A Festival of Music
The concert will feature the participants of the master class accompanied by Julia Miller, the evening concert will showcase the young singers following three days of intensive workshops with acclaimed soprano Miriam Gauci, Honorary Patron of the festival.
Gaulitana said that “building a strong international reputation, the classes will be attended by local artists as well as foreigners coming over especially for the event.
The master will take place in January, anticipating the 13th festival which will run between 8th March – 7th April, the organisers said.
The highlight event will be Manon Lescaut with Miriam Gauci interpreting the title-role in a production directed by Enrico Castiglione and conducted by Colin Attard.
The concert is next Sunday, the 6th of January, starting at 7pm at the Ministry for Gozo Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria.
