Government should ban junk material by post – Zminijietna

“Littering is everyone’s problem,” said the Left think-tank organisation Zminijietna. Adding that “a big share of the unwanted junk mail material sent at home, ends up in the streets.”
It added that “litter effects our quality of life and economic development, and eventually ends up in our waterways and oceans. Also, it is costly to clean up and adds up to deforestation.”
“Junk mail material by post should be banned by the Government,” the organisation said. “Instead, space can be offered for this material to be exposed in commercial areas, such as supermarkets, commercial centres, shops etc.”
