The Prime Minister and the Archbishop have discussed the proposal of the Foundation St. John’s Co-Cathedral for the extension of the museum of the Co-Cathedral. During this discussion, the Archbishop expressed his concern.
They agreed that the project relating to St. John’s Co-Cathedral should not be an element that separates the people.
In light of this, they agreed to recommend to the members of the Foundation of St. John’s Co-Cathedral that the project no longer be continued.
The announcement came just a few hours before Parliament was due to debate an Opposition motion urging the government to withdraw its support for the project.
The congratulations here go to FAA and Astrid Vella who brought this matter to the attention of the public and fought tirelessly to have the project scrapped. Well done folks and keep up the good work.
