Update with PN message below – Gozitan MP Frederick Azzopardi has been taken ill during visit to Morocco, where he is attending a meeting as part of a Maltese Delegation.

In a statement, the Speaker of the House Anglu Farrugia made the announcement saying that the MP is being given the necessary treatment in a medical centre in Morocco.

Azzopardi was with the delegation for the autumn meeting of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Update – The Nationalist Party in a statement, said how sorry it was to hear of  MP Frederick Azzopardi being unwell and wished him a speedy recovery.
