Heritage Malta is helping to make sure that staying at home can be fun, it is calling out to all children aged up to 16 to participate in their new art contest – Be the Artist, which opens tomorrow.

Every two weeks, Heritage Malta will be announcing a new theme for which children will be invited to create their work of art and then to upload an image of it on to Heritage Malta’s Facebook event page.

Heritage Malta explained that the best 10 submissions of each theme will be displayed in Heritage Malta’s portal www.heritagemalta.org and later on this year, they will also be exhibited at Muza, Malta’s national-community art museum.

Opening tomorrow, Monday, the 13th of April, the first theme – Prehistoric Temples – will run until the 26th of April.

Participants will be provided with guidelines and they have to create a drawing or graphic representation of an element of their choice from any of the prehistoric temples of Malta.
