Today, Scouts from Gozo and Malta, would in normal circumstances have been participating in the Annual Parade.
Thousands of members would have marched around the streets of Valletta, However, this time around, the Scout Association of Malta has come up with the first-ever national virtual event to showcase that Scouting is still active worldwide.
40 leaders from the 40 different Scout Groups were joined together via a video-call, which was streamed live on our Facebook Page, exactly at 11am this morning.
During this call, they renewed virtually the Scout Promise and encouraged every member to do the same from home.
Scouting never stops and the Association said that all groups are still very active with online meetings, voluntarily helping out in the community, undertaking several tasks at home, badge working and more.
