Update: No new Covid-19 cases and no recoveries in past 24-hours

Updated: Earlier this morning, Minister for Health Chris Fearne announced in a tweet that no new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the past 24-hours. This is the third occasion that there have been zero cases.
Dr Fearne said that “because we have been on the right track from the beginning, the responsibility and sacrifices of many are bearing fruit.”
He appealed to the public “to act responsibly so that we can continue to enjoy this success.”
The Heath Department on facebook has also confirmed there are 120 cases are currently active, 485 patients have recovered and there has been 6 deaths. There were 1,472 tests taken in the past 24-hours, with the total so far at 63,087
There has been disgust and disappointment voiced on the media and social media from healthcare workers and the public about the mass activity on the Granaries last night as Floriana FC supporters celebrated being declared the Champions.
