This year’s edition of the – Youth 4 Entrepreneurship Gozo Award has been launched, and will focus specifically on the area of sustainability.

The Gozo Business Chamber, in collaboration with the Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Businesses, Agenzija Zghazagh, Bank of Valletta, and the Europe Direct Information Centre – Gozo, is organising this second edition of the competition and it forms part of the events being organised during the SME Week

This contest is aimed at Gozo’s Young Entrepreneurs, who would like to share business ideas related to Gozo and have the chance to take home €500 for presenting their ideas.

The organisers said that the overall goal is to instill confidence in young people enabling them to reach their full potential, direct attention to the economic potential and challenges facing the island of Gozo.

It is also encouraging young people to adopt an innovative approach to develop their business ideas based on Gozo’s needs and potential, they said. The competition is for young people between 16 and 30-years of age.

Agenzija Zghazagh will be conducting a coaching session for potential applicants on Saturday, the 19th of September, between 9am and midday. The theme is – Entrepreneurial pitching and Presentation skills.
