Police said this morning that they are on the roads carrying out daily patrols in all localities across Malta and Gozo educating on public health guidelines to restrict the spread of Covid-19, such as the mandatory use of masks/visors.

As from this weekend, the Police warned that they will be enforcing and issuing fines in relation to the use of masks/visors everywhere – including outdoors and at workplaces.

The Police advised everyone to: Wear your Mask Properly – covering nose, mouth and chin: Dispose of Used Masks Safely – do not litter; and Practise Social Distancing – do not gather in large groups.
