As announced by the Minister for Education Justyne Caruana during a visit on Thursday to the Laura Vicuna Primary School, in Ghasri, Gozo, those parents who want to register their children for admission to the Kindergarten for next February can now do this online.

The Ministry of Education said that children who turn 3 years old by April 2021 must be registered by Monday, the 4th of January 2021, in order to start kindergarten on the 1st of February. Applications can be made online by clicking here.

Minister for Education Justyne Caruana said that, “as a Ministry we always seek to help and make the lives of our students’ parents easier, so we thought that even those parents who want to register their children for kindergarten will be helped, both because of this time of Covid restrictions but also because we are in the holidays.”

The Minister for Education said that “just as the Ministry did its best to start and continue the school year we are in, and continue it successfully, work is also underway for the opening of the kindergarten which will protected by all measures introduced at the beginning of this school year.”
