Tonio Grech has been constructing a Nativity Scene – Presepju – at the Museum Boys section of Nadur in Gozo for the last 26 years.
Unfortunately, this year the “Presepju” will not be open to the public due to the Covid-19 restrictions, so this time it has been crafted specifically for the Nadur children that attend the Museum.
Its very original in its shape a `V ‘ form, using 20cm figurines, with some over 50-years old.
Intelligent lighting is also used in the form of the latest LEDs and bullet beams. Tonio is also inviting the public to follow virtual tours of the presepju with photos and videos.
Tonio explained that the crib is made up of tree bark, stones and jublo which together give a wonderful effect.
