We cannot fight with our brothers and sisters who live in Malta, I have family living there for God’s same!, but what we can do is reason with them and ask them to be a little bit patient. We want you to rent our empty expensive farm houses and apartments but we also want to heal Gozo from this Pandemic so that then you and others from far can comeand enjoy what the PA has left for us all to enjoy. I understand your rush to come and visit Gozo before it is transformed into a cement jungle like Malta but hopefully this will not happen if our Mayors and Maltese in general understand that Tony’s Zarb words ‘issa Daqsekk!” has never had so much meaning as today! Gozo does not need more development being residential, commercial or hotels/restaurants. Now it is enough! People from Malta we are trying very hard to protect Gozo from these wolves. We are doing our best to eradicate Covid from our few shores, help us by not coming at the moment. It will make Gozo safe faster by you not crossing and it will be made safe not just for us but for you too. If Gozo is 100% safe vaccinated persons from Malta can freely come and have a rest and get their strength back in our countryside. All we ask is be patient, soon things will be much safer with your participation too.
