World Autism Day 2021 - Inclusion in the WorkplaceToday marks the fourteenth annual World Autism Day. This year’s theme is – Inclusion in the Workplace: Challenges and Opportunities in a Post-Pandemic World.

The 2021 theme is based on the framework of World Autism Day 2020’s theme – The Transition to Adulthood – that attempted to educate the mass about the challenge people on the autism spectrum face when “Transitioning to Adulthood.”

World Autism Day is celebrated every year on the 2nd of April. This special day first started in 2008 and is aimed at raising awareness about people with autistic spectrum disorders throughout the world.

The UN said that this special day highlights the importance of early diagnosis and treatment of this brain condition and addresses the misconception society has of this condition and the concerns of parents of children with autism.

Several prominent locations have been been lit up in blue around Victoria to mark this special day and to continue expanding the public’s knowledge about this condition, while jointly overcoming the difficulties.
