Ghajnsielem Mayor Kevin Cauchi has advised that earlier this morning a large boulder fell at Xatt l-Ahmar, closing the limited access to Tal-Inglizi.
Mayor Cauchi has said that, “thankfully the ERA permit for shifting of boulders has been issued and works are expected to start shortly thanks to the Ministry for Gozo.”
He asked for everyone to please avoid the area and also thanked Ghajnsielem Council worker Frankie Saliba for immediately closing the area.

Protect this place … It’s too beautiful
I hope that they dont make another mistake by shifting the boulders again like they did years ago. They act to lesser the erosion from the sea and keep the cliff intact.
