Gozitan Beppe Galea from SDM – Studenti Demokristjani Maltin, has been elected as the new chairman of the European Democratic Students. This organisation represents more than a million students from 35 countries.
He is the first Maltese to hold the position and was elected with a majority of 98%. Also elected was a new Secretary General Ivan Botoucharov, from YCGE who will lead EDS for the Working Year 2021/2022.
