Heritage Malta museums free this coming Sunday

Heritage Malta is giving the public an opportunity to visit four museums for free on Sunday, the 7th of June. This is part of Heritage Malta’s commitment to promote a greater awareness about Malta and Gozo’s history and culture amongst the Maltese and visitors.

The four sites are the National Museum of Fine Art in Valletta, the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina the Maritime Museum in Birgu and the Ta’ Kola Windmill in Xaghra Gozo. The four museums will be open from 9am to 5pm.

On Sunday the public will also have a onetime opportunity to buy a Heritage Malta membership card that gives free entrance to all Heritage Malta sites and museums (half price for the Hypogeum) for a whole year.

The tickets, which can be bought only from these four museums, will cost €50 for a family and €25 for adults between 18 and 59 years. Membership for persons between 6 and 17 years and senior citizens will be €20.
