Heritage Malta is organising a heritage trail to Gozo. The full-day tour which will take participants to Ggantija Temples, Ta Kola Windmill, ‘The Citadel,’ the Old Prisons, the Folklore Museum, the Archaeological Museum and Dwejra will be held on Sunday 28th June.

Participants will meet at Cirkewwa at 8.30am to board the 9.00am ferry to cross over to Gozo, where an air-conditioned coach will take them to Xaghra to visit the Ggantija Temples which are considered to be the oldest freestanding structures in the world and part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

A Heritage Malta official will guide participants round the site and they will then proceed to Ta Kola Windmill, just a short walk away to admire the folklore of a past era.

At the Citadel they will be taken on a short tour of The Old Prisons, The Folklore Museum and the Archaeological museum, all within a short distance from each other.

After lunch they will go to Dwejra, where one, can explore the natural beauty of this area, followed by a coffee break or a swim in the little bay of Dwejra. Departing to Malta will be on the 7.30pm ferry.

Tickets which include the ferry, all admission tickets and lunch cost €35 for adults and €30 for Heritage Malta members.
