The Puttinu Cares Foundation has advised that the Celebration of Life for the beloved Dr. Victor Calvagna, who passed away on Tuesday, will take place on Wednesday, the 12th of January at 3.30pm at the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady in Mosta (Rotunda of Mosta).

Due to the current Covid situation that we find ourselves in, the organisers said that they are putting all efforts into ensuring that the funeral will comply with all the necessary regulations as requested by the Health department.

The Celebration will the broadcast live via a link which will be shared on the day.

”We understand that most would like to attend this celebration however, due to the number of seats allowed we will be issuing a limited number of tickets,” Puttinu said. ”We ask that you kindly co-operate with us and understand the situation.”

The Foundation added that ”we would like to respect the family’s wishes in that everyone within the church is joined in prayer. For that reason, no cameras will be allowed during the Mass within the church.”

Dr Calvagna, who was the President and founder of Puttinu Cares, was hit by a car while out running in Qawra last week, sustaining critical injuries.
