Delays are expected for vehicles heading towards Cirkewwa and Gozo during the coming months as work starts tomorrow on the northbound carriageway of Il-Marfa Road, from Ghadira Bay towards Cirkewwa.
Writing on social media, Infrastructure Malta advised that it is working with the Water Services Corporation to lay new underground pipelines and rebuild the northbound carriageway.
”For the next few months, the road will be open with one lane in each direction only – through the southbound carriageway,” it said.
While thanking the public for their cooperation, Infrastructure Malta advised motorists to ”plan ahead as delays are expected.”
