There were 79 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 288 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to below 1,000 at 988.

There are 46 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital including 4 who are in ITU(figures for Gozo General Hospital have not been updated) .

There have been 594 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 339,653.
