The Gozo Philatelic Society has set up a new display in its showcase at Il-Hagar Museum in Victoria.

The display is to to mark the occasion of an extraordinary exhibition of paintings at the museum by renowned twentieth century artists, which is officially opened later today.

There is a cross section of Malta first day covers, mostly privately produced with exclusive features, showing local and foreign oeuvres. Also included are some from abroad.

Visiting hours at the museum, which is located in St George’s Square, remain 9am – 5pm seven days a week, with no entrance fee.
